2006 was our kick off for an old time festival favorite.  Pies are purchased from one of our local bakeries.  Of course pies are Blueberry, because Columbia was home to many blueberry farms in the past.  In fact, the Columbia Homecoming Festival was once called the Columbia Blueberry Festival.  Contestants race to see who can eat their slice of pie the fastest.  The winner receives the Chamionship Pie Eating Title & Trophy for each age division.  There were plenty of covered faces and lot's of laughs for all.
