Marnie Butler's Biography

Marnie Butler is has been a resident of Columbia Station most of her life and is a graduate of Columbia High School and a member of The Columbia United Methodist Church.  She has been an active member of the Columbia Homecoming Committee before officially joining the Columbia Chamber of Commerce.  She was crowned as the very first festival queen in 1986, when the festival was then know as The Columbia Blueberry Festival.  She is currently the "Official Festival Announcer" and "Battle of the Bands" Chairperson.  She also has served as the pageant director from 1989-1996, returned to co-direct the pageant in 2005 to rebuild the program.  Marnie is a Licensed Insurance Agent with Western & Southern Financial Group in Elyria specializing in Life & Health Health Insurance Plans for Individual's & Groups.

Marnie is a graduate of Bryant & Stratton Business Institute, The Ohio Center For Broadcasting, and Hondros College.  She is also a member of the Business Network International (BNI) "Profit With Us Chapter" in Lorain County and The Columbia Chamber of Commerce serving as Secretary.  She resides in Columbia with her two children, Mason and Halle.
